Whats the best tutorial book for photoshop, I know a lot of the basic stuff but but it takes me for ever to find the tool I need, so probably I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate.

I use the Photoshop Bible a lot also!
Im sure you could fill in the intermediate stuff with info off the web. If you want to be a Photoshop Ninja (like me), get a book called Photoshop 6 for Photographers. Dont be put off by the title, it's not just for photograpers, and it covers the top end stuff like advanced colour correction and compositing.
Excellent book that I have learned a-lot from (even though I was a black-belt before I got this book!)

I don't think I have earned any belts yet, but I have earned braces - does the job but looks like an awkward way of doing things.
I have ordered Adobe Photoshop 6.0 Studio Techniques, from the reviews it seems like the book for me as it is supposed to explain how tools work.

Gumnut, I think you'll like the book. He makes complex things simple. And he gives you a bit of theory, too.

Hhyyyyyyaaaaaahhhh (Bruce Lee sound effect with big reverb!). I have moved on from Black Belt...think Metal Gear Solid 2 type ninja person, and you are getting there (sharpens throwing stars gleefully!)..

I don't use books but I heard the Photoshop Classroom in a book is a good book
Adobe Photoshop Classroom in a book is excellent. Id also reccommend WOW! books.
