Please try free version of ws_ftp - it is ws_ftp LE We are using this and recommending the same. This will solve all the trouble.

    Best regards.

While confusingly expressed, this doesn't look like an FTP client issue.

How to upload folders using Filezilla, and what to do of same name folders already say root folder already on the hosting site in my account.
You can't have 2 folders with the very same name, so the files will simply be copied over in the existing folder.

You can upload files directly to the inside the folders, you can choose the remote folder name and then upload the files. If you think you have messed with it, then it would be nice if you start uploading once again , into the document root.

I use Filezilla as well. To upload a folder, you just drag it from local site and drop it cross to your remote site, the transfer will take place immediately. Hope this helps.

Yeah, there should be some type of file manager in your control panel.
