This article should be what you are looking for.
all u need to do is to download the proper version of the Apache server, read the text file and do the installation.
then in oreder to install the php in to it, just read the installation section in the php manual. there is some small editing to do in one of the files and thats about it...
just remeber to restart...

I simply downloaded the PHPDEV4 zip file from firepages.com.au and unzipped it.
Once it was unzipped, I navigated to the Apache directory and type in the following command:
Boom.. Apache now runs as a service on my Windows XP machine with PHP 4.0.6. Wish it was a newer version but 4.0.6 works for my needs right now.Code:apache -k install
It is really easy to install Wayne and it only takes a few minutes to get PHP and MySQL running
