What editor are you using?

i suggest crimson editor (see sig), fits on a floppy disc!. You can use it in conjunction with WINE (http://wine.codeweavers.com/) on linux.

I'm devloping on a windows box using phpEd although I have been tempted by dwmx. My linux box died a while ago and haven't had a chance to set it up again - there was a reasonable editor that came with Konqueror.Originally posted by strum

I think one of the best PHP Editors is NotePad.
However, since your on Linux I guess it would be vi.

ah, now, come onyou don't REALLY think Notepad is the best PHP editor, do ya?
i'd go with TheOriginalH answer.
im using phpEd, on a winXP.
it is clear, good highligtning of php commands and variables. usually does a good work in compleating long varibles names and commands, works pretty good with the php manual as for the help section.
