    javascript in NN6 question

    I fiddling around with the following script I just cooked up:

    <a href onMousedown= "alert('Sorry, you cannot copy this image. I have other free images elsewhere on my site')"><img src="001.jpg"></a>

    It's inline and for some reason when I test the page in NN6, it shows the alert box and display the content of the folder it's located in. It don't get the same response in Opera 5 and IE5.

    You've got no attribute for the href. Use this code instead:
    <a href="javascript:;" onmousedown="alert('message')">
