    php: very long sent mail

    mail('email@gmail.com','test','test') - work 60 sec, this too long (
    from shell - sent immediately.

    Any advice please.

    Ask your web host, maybe they are doing that on purpose to stop PHP scripts from sending spam.

    i see here /var/mail - nothing suspect don't see

    /var/mail wouldn't be where logs are... you need to know what mail servers are running on your server and where they're configured to write logs.

    I solved the problem:
    Code:
    go to the /etc/sysconfig directory
    There is a file called network
    In this file there is a variable called HOSTNAME
    This variable should be for example :
    HOSTNAME=NETSRV.mydomain
    now check the file /etc/hosts
    This file should contain 2 lines
    
    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain  localhost
    127.0.0.1 NETSRV.mydomain   NETSRV
