    question on mail() function

    hello,

    why is that when I try to send an email using mail() function to a yahoo account the email is considered as spam?

    is there a way to avoid this?

    thanks

    Yeah I've used both Swiftmailer and PHPmailer and I'd recommend Swift anyday. I can't remember why I found it better than PHPMailer, but both are far better than a straight mail() call anyway.
