Overheating Computer

mine too my fan is making too much of noise.....its abnormal ......i think i should change the fan. besides that my motherboard and the processor is also different. I just fit them to run for the cost of pc.

It happend with me too but not this much (45 dc) but above 35, That was due to dust inside all over my cpu, I just use blower and clean that up. It helps me too.

Yes... simply clean your pc with a blower, clean your CPU's heatsink and put a fresh thermal paste. I think it would work..

As far as I know, Intel's reading is usually from the metal cover of the processor while 3rd party software usually grabs the core's reading. Thus, the difference in temperature readings.

It's probably the dust,I had problems with every computer,after cleaning,it was so silent in the room.

Any updates? how's your temp? Check your power supply also, it can also be a factor. Anyways, when your temp is getting to 70, it could be definitely a heatsink problem.

Ok people, after quite a few delays for various reasons I have some Artic Silver 5 on order and a Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 on order, should with a bit of luck arrive tomrrow.

Finally, all parts have arrives - after the firm I orderd them from didn't tell me they were out of stock, eventually got refund and now have the parts. idle temp is now as low as 28 deg c again.
