Good examples of accessible web design?

Thought it would be cool to make up a list of good examples of accessible web sites.

Anyone care to kick things off?

++ to Mike's Lainey site-- have had it bookmarked for like 4 different reasons : )

Hmm, Accessites.org seems to regularly list sites which they feel made special efforts at accessibility, such as raspberryfrog.co.uk and the kwbell.biz (Keith Bell) sites-- and they mention what few things they thought were NOT accessible about those sites, which is valuable for the rest of us checking them out.

The other wcag2 site was visionaustralia.org.au

You might want to check out Mike's site in general for accessibility tips and ideas-- he generally builds all his sites with accessibility in mind (and is the one who made the Lainey Feingold site): http://green-beast.com/blog/
and Gez' juicystudio.com for the same reason.

I dream to get at least one site listed in Accessites.org ... that has been my aspiration.

About the Mike's Lainey site - there is something I don't understand and kindly correct me:

    * Shouldn't the text on the top-left menu change to underline or similar when highlighted?

    * And shouldn't the images on the same menu change to something rather more constrasting rather than just a subtle highlight?

Genuinely curious here, I've also bookmarked the site for further study.

That would make sense. And on focus we just get the cursor at the first letter.

The highlighting, not sure it would matter if there was some underlining going on.

    Mike can be asked, though.
