March Foto Challenge: Where lines meet

For the month of March, were going to take a playful look at where lines meet. Plenty of oppertunity to show off some interesting pictures, and go out there looking for some also.

I don't know if tree trunks, branches, and shadows can technically be called "lines", well I guess the edges might be. Anyway, this is one of my favorite photos.

Yeah, I agree. I like the depth that it creates in your shot.

This was more an artifact of the optics in the low-priced digital camera, but I caught an interesting effect here.

This is only remotely related to the thread topic but I just had to post it because it is so cool ! Please forgive me.


This is the smoke plume dissipating after the Space Shuttle launch on March 15th as viewed from my front yard.
I just love the orange tinge in the middle - which I can only assume is the setting sun as it reflects off the smoke.
I captured HD video of the launch (from this perspective) and will post it on one of my personal sites soon.
