Help with code please!

Hi,

I've just made this code for a scroller text box on a template. What I want it to do, is have the same colour as my bg except for the arrows. How do I do this please?

However be warned that it is a proprietary technology as only Internet Explorer allows changing the colors of scrollbars. Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome (et al) will not allow you to achieve this effect.

Thanks for the help. As the majority use IE I thought it would be ideal. However, stored in brain for future reference

I think designing for a particular browser is a bad idea. I like to design for standard compliant browsers. When I see a warning like "Best viewed in XYZ browser" I tend to go view something else with MY favorite browser.

Hi Denny,

The site is very basic, I don't like the design, but I'm trying to do it for a friend (they know I'm new to this). I won't make it browser specific, just that most use IE. I'm testing it in Firefox and Safari for windows too.

For some reason Opera (latest version) in Xp isn't working successfully.
