Thanks for the link. I was not able to understand much from that because I don't have much knowledge about cURL. Also I don't know anything about gmail import.

You say you don't know much about curl and use that as an excuse for not reading around the subject.

One thing to do... learn how to use curl.

My PHP skill is quite limited, and I don't really know how to use curl, myself, however, please explain more in detail what you want to acieve, and I'll try to figure something out.

If I get to do something, I'll post the coding here, so that the pro's can give their advice.

You want to import email addresses and names from/to gmail - from/to where?

    Please describe more in detail.

    Hope I can assist you.

In general, and I'm not joking, if I don;t know how to do something, I just pray, and after playing around, I've achieved what I wanted to do. And after doing it, I don;t know how I've done it.

I don;t want to make a joke out of it, but I'd just like to mention it, since I'm really no guru.

    Well then, awaiting your reply.

I am creating 'invite your friends script' that will enable a user of import the email, name from gmail address book of his/her gmail a/c. Then the user will select the emails and names to invite.

I will show a secured form to the user then user will insert login & password of gmail. This form will be posting to a php script that will connect to gmail and login into the user's account. After logging it will fetch the address book and import the entries in XML. I will use this XML data for further processing of invite friend script.
