    host my autoresponder

    HI,

I've developed an online, PHP/MySql driven autoresponder software that allows users to create their mailing lists, here are some features :
    - form generator for subscribing
    - double opt in pages
    - add subscribers manually (one by one) AND import them from an external CSV file
    - upload .txt AND .html newsletters
    - create .html newsletter online and save them into file system
    - schedule newsletter sending (days, weeks, months...)
    - free, bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels of users

I couldn't find a company yet for hosting, few of them told me that they won't allow e-mail sending from their server AND their servers cannot handle such a load (cca 5000 emails/day)...
In your opinion, should I rewrite ALL the code to adopt my responder for users to dowload it and use just for their purpose...? Can someone suggest a hosting company that can offer services for such a system? Or should I just throw my software to the Rec Bin???

    Thank you!

Probably you need dedicated server for that.... ???
And that should be specified in any case. The problem you might have with network providers is number of emails

Yes, you better contact a hosts directly and ask about this, but no shared environment will allow you to send such number of mails daily. You better try to go for a high end VPS or some decent dedicated server. At least you will have a room to grow with these options.

Yep, you can get into trouble with your ISP.I recommend using a auto responder company like Aweber or Getresponse.

Thank you, but that's not the point! I don't mean to USE auto responder service of those companies! I want to PROVIDE auto responder service for users!

Get a VPS or a dedicated server. I doubt there would be many (if any) hosts that would allow you to run an autoresponder in their shared hosting environment.

Yep, I'm about to "hire" a dedicated server for my responder script. It will be more expensive but I hope it will worth the time and money... Thank you guys for your replies!
