    import mysql into mysql???

    I have two sites which use the same database layout. What I would like to do is import sections of one database into the other.

    Example:
    One site is a preowned car site and the other is a car dealership that sells new and used cars. I would like to import the used cars the dealer sells into the Preowned Site.

    How hard is something like this to do? And could you point me to any good tutorials or give me some idea on how to do this?

    Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

    If the database structure is identical why not use the mysql dump command?

    read about it here:
