Find httpd.conf in Apache conf directory and uncomment (remove #) a line which looks something like this:

    Code:
    #LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

Go to apache's site and search for mod_rewrite

Because you have to set it in your apache's conf file.

You have to load the module.

Normally all modules will be listed. Find the relevant module and take away the # sign.
