Question WordPress post expire and archive

I am trying to find a solution for letting a post expire from the Home page of a blog and automatically be archived. I can't find anything on WordPress' website and was wondering if anyone here might have a solution or know of someone that does?

Currently you can only change a post to delete/make a draft with a plugin, if you want it to "expire" from the Home page of your website. I don't want it to be deleted or "drafted". I just want it to be removed and archived.

AFAIK,expiration of a post will definitely mean that it will be deleted after specified time. But if you want to display a post for specific period and then archived then the following links can help you.
