    Netscape and JS Rollover

    Hey all,

I've just run into a problem viewing a site I launched in Netscape...

The problem is when I mouse-over the thumbnail pictures. The large image is supposed to appear above. The image appears, however, shrunken!

I don't encounter the problem in IE... Any ideas? It could be the JS Code (please keep in mind that it is VERY basic beginner code!).

    Smile Works in Navigator 6.2

I really like this site. beautiful photography and a clean design but preloading 13 large image files is a big usability no-no. It took ages to show up. Perhaps you should preload only the initial image within the head tag and then just before you close the body tag throw-in the JavaScript routine to preload the other 12 images.

or you could write a progress-bar for the page.

    Great site though.

    ThomasAesir,

Thanks for the reply! I'm glad you liked the site. To tell you the truth, that was also my biggest concern... But I can't figure out a way to properly do so.

I'm not very good with JS, so it is somewhat confusing for me to figure out how to make the changes.

Do I need to remove all the "... = new Image();" lines to remove the pre-load?

Any clarification would be much appreciated.

    Thanks again!
