    <br> Does not work in WordPress

    I am at my wit's end, I have tried everything to get my post to space out properly but no matter what I put WordPress just publishes the post without any spacing as seen here (http://visuall.ca/?p=28)

    Ive tried adding BR but it just disappears. Anybody have a clue why its doing this, its my first time using Wordpress and I am very discouraged by this experience

    I see some <br/> elements with a clear class though I'm guessing those aren't from your post. Are you using any type of plugin that strips them? Where exactly should they be in the markup?

    What exactly are you trying to format? If you mean you want to align images properly try using CSS properties instead.

    Code CSS:
    #parent {
        margin:10px;
    }

    Code CSS:
    #Div {

        clear:both;
    }

    Do you have HTML & CSS already started? If so can you please give us it? It would be really helpful.

    For CSS reference visit w3school, they've got the best outline I've seen so far: http://www.w3schools.com/Css/css_reference.asp

    To the original poster, please please please please be more specific and tell us EXACTLY which elements ( id/class for element/screenshot/snippet of image that needs spacing ) need the margin as the page you linked to, everything seemed to be spaced out fine.
