    Question Alias in Apache Webserver

I had this Idea to give every directory the same Alias.
    meaning:
if /script/ is the alias then
    server/script/script1.php
    and
    server/dir1/script/script1.php
would result in the same page.

this way I could have 1 counter file that I can use on every page I want without needing to copy it in to every directory I want to use it in. also gives me losts of time back after a bug fix.

    now my question:
does anybody know if this is possible? if so how?
    thx in advance!

i believe that that can be done.
try adding this under <IfModule mod_alias.c>:

    Alias /script/ "server/script/"
if that doesn't work, try replacing Alias with ScriptAlias
