Wordpress Upgradation failed from 2.6.5 to 2.7.1

    Hello All,

From yesterday onwards I'm trying to upgrade the wordpress from 2.6.5 to 2.7.1

I've registered a new domain and installed the wp by fantastico. It installed the 2.6.5 version.

But when I tried to upgrade after changing the settings of wp-config.php,

    the error I'm getting is

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_remote_request() in /home/onlinedo/public_html/DOMAINNAME/wp-includes/update.php on line 58

and one more error while trying to login is

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_remote_post() in /home/onlinedo/public_html/DOMAINNAME/wp-includes/cron.php on line 204

Please help me. Thanx in advance.

Try out different browser or clear caches on your browsers and deactivate your all plugin and retry upgrade.

As it is a fresh installation, it doesn't have any plugins. I'm updating it manually.

I saw a problem, too. Go with the manual upgrade.

Backup up ALL of your files to your computer from the server, backup your database (see WordPress' website for instructions on how to do so), download the WordPres 2.7.1 upgrade from their website, upload all files to your server, add back your themes/plugins/media folder.

Visit your upgrade page, and you should be set.
