    A Dilemma

Recently I started a thread about the use of nested tables on my site
One of the problems was that the final solution worked well only on Netscape 6 and IE 5+. I posted that I didn't care much about N4.x eventhough the it was easily possible to fix the code for that too.
Now the thing is that viewing my site on a mac gives me the idea that I should do something about my site because on a mac -the one I tested was mac 8.6 if it matters- (with same versions of IE, NN,...) the whole thing looks crazy, and the bgcolor is off too which is kind of common but still irritating. I mean applets are totally out of place...
I need advice on possible global solutions but I don't/can't resort to CGI redirections at this moment.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

Would ultimately easier just to fix the bugs on the site rather than redirect users to a different version of your web site. IMO....

I'd rewrite the code so it validates as XHTML ... then at least you know your more or less ok ... as for MAC/PC/Browser compatibilities they will be minor tweaks after this.
