    help with firefox and note pad

    Ihave buikd your own web site the right ws using html&css. I'm having trouble! when i write the web site in note pad then save it to my desk top under the folder web sites when i open it in fire fox it shows me what it will look like on the net, but i can't find where the html site I wrote. I am a begginer and i hope i made my self clear.

    Hey,

    You can click "view" and then "page source" in firefox's top bar to find the HTML code.

    Hi wgarcia, welcome to SitePoint.

    If I understand your question right, you can't find the saved files inside the web-folder?

    Instead of using Windows "virtual" web-folder I think you could use any folder you create elsewhere or the desktop itself to save into. Then you can find them and reopen in Notepad or view them in the browser as you choose.

    Windows physical web-folder can actually be placed in the os folder, you can type %windir% in the Explorer address field to look for it.

    Save it an desktop folder, simple as that
