I suspect that the offer will continue after the end of January, though the coupon code might change. It's become a constant part of their marketing efforts of late.

I think HostGator has nearly proved to be a reliable host, in the course of time and with or without using promotions or bonus packages or even the discount coupons.
The unlimited space or bandwidth has been offered by the top leading firms having more than 100,000 members since some months ago.

HostGator has been making me really happy lately. Their Business Hosting plan gives away free toll free phone, it really made my day.
So far their up time and support has been great.Last edited by roosevelt; Feb 1, 2009 at 18:24.

Follow up all changes. As far as I know they place them on their web site. Contact them directly to be aware of all details

Had a couple of accounts with them several years ago. Generally, they were a good value for the $. Unfortunately, both of our accounts were on the Skyline server that had issues on more than one occasion and we ended up going with a VPS to better suit our needs. Good to hear they have been doing well though.

I moved from Dreamhost to Hostgator and have to say I am pretty pleased overall. Dreamhost was also great but their mySQL was a tad slow. However their FTP speed and file read/write was extremely fast. Hostgator FTP is slower but database and PHP seems faster.

I like hostgator, but you must know that they really don't provide unlimited bandwidth or disk space. If your bandwidth is too high you will exceed the allowed CPU usage and you are limited to 50,000 inodes (or files).
With all of that said, it is nice to have room to grow for most on bandwidth and disk space.||| WebHostingUsers.com

I believe there's no longer a 50,000 inodes limit. However, they wont backup your files if you have more than 50,000. Which is a bit of a negative but I'm staying with them.
