    Setting tables the right way?!?

I'm trying to create a script which is a bit complecated i think. The idea is taht a user can create a category with name, userdefined background color and ordernumber so if the user have forexample 5 different categories he can chaneg the order the categories are listed. This party is pretty simple to create:

    table_category (catid,uid,name,color,order_no)

But now 4 the tricky part. The user should be able to share some of his categories with other users. The other user should then be able to change the color of his liking and the order the category should come in his categories without changing it in other users this category have.

How do I set up the tables for this?!? I hope this is the right forum :-)

If all are sharable then no change to the table would be needed - you'd just add an option to allow an entry to be copied from one uid to another. If only some are sharable then you just need one extra field to identify which are and which are not.
