    Upgraded to 2.7 fatel error

When I upgraded to 2.7 I get this error when trying to view my plugins.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare uninstall_plugin() (previously declared in /home/content/t/i/m/timberlinept/html/blog/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php:509) in /home/content/t/i/m/timberlinept/html/blog/wp-content/plugins/pluginstaller/uninstall.php on line 14

Any idea how to fix this problem?

You could try editing the plugin's file(s) so that the function name and all calls to it are different. eg. uninstall_plugin to pi_uninstall_plugin.

But as that plugin is compatable from WordPress version 2.0.2 to 2.2 and ver 2.7 now handles plugin installation/uninstallation quite well (it even upgrades!), IMHO you could simply delete (or rename) that plugin from the plugin folder and forget about it. It's purpose is now obsolete.

I fixed it by totally removing the plugins folder and then reistalling. Not sure if that is recommended but it did work.
