    Question Need Help With Form

I want my visitors to fill out their information on a my web page

I'll make a form with some directions on leaving there information, after the visitors fills in & clicks the submit button the information on the form will then be sent to my email where I can look at it & put it in my records.

The thing is I don't know how to do that?

Thanks for the help in advance

The form cannot send to your email. The form has to send it to a server, and it's server-side code like php or asp that gets the form data and sends it to your email.

JavaScript doesn't come into the equation until after the form is done and the server-side code has validated the form data before sending it to your email.

The purpose of JavaScript in this type of situation is to improve the user experience. Scripting does no heavy lifting of its own.

If you like, there is some sample code for a Contact Us form, along with other projects, that you can obtain from a site about Bulletproof Ajax
