used to use dreamweaver for years, now I ran as far away from it as I could. (it's awful). Now I use notepad++, and I couldn't be happier.
An old version of Web Coder [5] by TSW...
then Notepad to tweak. For Mac = Smultron.

WeBuilder 2008 - Currently fits my needs with a few nice features including syntax highlighting, tag matching and collapsible code for easier editing.
Have been playing with Microsoft Expression Web 2 and am liking it as well. But it doesn't offer me anything anything new. At least nothing that isn't already included in WeBuilder.
Notepad++, it's free and lightweight, syntax highlighting, nice GUI, has everything I need![]()


dreamweaver for me, although i've never tried anything else so i can't judge how good it actually is!! does everything i need at present tho and i'm sure there is still more to learn

For a basic html editor use Notepad, I have been using Dreamweaver for over 4 years solid and have got so used to it. No words can be said how excellent it is if you want a high end industry standard html editor... Thumbs up to Dreamweaver!!!![]()
