used to use dreamweaver for years, now I ran as far away from it as I could. (it's awful). Now I use notepad++, and I couldn't be happier.

WeBuilder 2008 - Currently fits my needs with a few nice features including syntax highlighting, tag matching and collapsible code for easier editing.

Have been playing with Microsoft Expression Web 2 and am liking it as well. But it doesn't offer me anything anything new. At least nothing that isn't already included in WeBuilder.

dreamweaver for me, although i've never tried anything else so i can't judge how good it actually is!! does everything i need at present tho and i'm sure there is still more to learn

I just use SciTE, but UltraEdit is a pretty solid and versatile editor too. I used it a lot back in the day, when NetBeans sucked.

For a basic html editor use Notepad, I have been using Dreamweaver for over 4 years solid and have got so used to it. No words can be said how excellent it is if you want a high end industry standard html editor... Thumbs up to Dreamweaver!!!
