    Javascript validate

    Hi friends,

I have a seal with Javascript code:

    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" id="siteSeal" src="//tracedseals.starfieldtech.com/siteseal/get?scriptId=siteSeal&amp;sealId=1234..."></script>

and I want to validate it.
Maybe someone can help me to validate that script.

    Thanks.

It seems that you have posted html, but you're wanting javascript to be validated.

It does not yet seem to be possible to retrieve any javascript from what has been posted.

    • The language attribute is long-since deprecated.
    • The source URI needs a protocol specification.

    Code HTML4Strict:
    <script type="text/javascript" id="siteSeal" src="http://tracedseals.starfieldtech.com/siteseal/get?scriptId=siteSeal&amp;sealId=1234..."></script>

The MIME type should really be application/javascript, but since IE doesn't support that it's okay to use the deprecated text/javascript.

What exactly are you asking? You've just posted a bit of HTML!! And what do you want us to validate?

The there must be something else that is conflicting with it, that can only be discovered by investigating the complete page.

Please post a link to it, and you'll quickly receive your answer.
