    CfmMail problem!

    Hi im new to Cold Fusion and I need help with this form mail. It doest work, it says:

    Error Diagnostic Information

    An error occurred while evaluating the expression:

    #form.marde#

    Error near line 7, column 2.

    Can you guys help me out to solve this? Here is the page of the form:

    You're going to have to post the code here. The server will parse ColdFusion code and we will not be able to see it.

    Oh...actually, I think you're using the wrong name for your form. The error message says that "form.marde" is invalid. Your FORM is actually named "form1".

    Try changing that in the script and see if it works.

    remove the "form1." from your code and try that. It returns the value of the text field then.

    I tried your links but got a 404 error. From what Creole says, your form is named "form1" in the calling page. By the time the data reaches the "mailto.cfm" script, the "form1" part is irrelevant. The browser will simply pass all the form variables through in a scope called "form".

    So as long as you have a form field in the calling page called "marde" your script should work. If its a checkbox it will only be passed through to the "mailto.cfm" script if it is checked.
