I need to implement real time progress bar while file uploading in rails application showing percentage of file uploaded. I tried to use uploadprogress plugin bt it doesnt support ruby 1.8.6.

I m in hurry. if some1 is aware of the proper solution, plz revert back to me at your earliest...

I want step by step implementation for the same.
