Small probelem here, Ive a site thats been in use for a about 3 years, and has now got to the stage whereby the client has expanded and one page in particular is dynamically generated and contains about 400 images all pulled from a database.
The problem is that the page is predictablely slow to load, Ive tried adding an Expire header to let the browser cache the images but it just doest seem to work.
The user will in the course of a day pass through this page about one hundred times so caching the images would improve his experience enormously.
Any other ideas

PS I should add that Ive optimised all the images to abuot 1.4Kb each, cant go any smaller
