    MySQL display

    Hi guys,

I have a MySQL query that I would like to modify so that the 'bidder_id' field is not displayed as the bidder id, but as the row number from the database. So for example let's say bidder_id has the following values (values on the left):

    1009 - should be displayed as "1"
    1080 - should be displayed as "2"
    1067 - should be displayed as "3"
    1034 - should be displayed as "4"
    1034 - should be displayed as "4"

As you can see, I am pulling bidders from the database but trying to display them as 1, 2, 3 etc..

Is there a way to do this using MySQL?

No problem! I thought it may just be quicker to do it in MySQL, but it's okay will do it using PHP.

    Thanks.
