    Blog with Wiki functionality?

Have any of you ever tried making a blog with Wiki type functionality?

A plugin developed for converting a blog into a Wiki was released today by instinct.co.nz, the makers of the WP e-Commerce plugin.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-wiki/
    http://www.instinct.co.nz/wordpress-wiki-plugin/

Beyond the obvious uses as a simple Wiki system using WordPress as the backend, do any of you think there would be a use for such a plugin in a traditional blog?

With the release of this plugin, it will definitely open up more options for people who have the ideas of starting a wiki but don't have the necessary coding skills.

It will also make it easier for those who can't be bothered working out how to theme another piece of software for a small wiki system. Any wiki's I'm likely to create myself will probably be quite small and this sort of system will be ideal.

Thanks Ryan, for the tip. I wasn't necessarily looking for this at the moment, but I have had ideas in combining a wiki with a blog for quite some time now. This can, at least, help me start out easily.

I've installed on a localhost, but haven't actually had a use for it yet.

There's a link which says [HIDE] and I have no idea what that is supposed to do. It just seems to site there. I thought it was my theme causing it not to work for a start, but when I changed to the default theme it didn't work then either.

I use TikiWiki on most of my sites that need a wiki integrated with other features. It's the best package I've found for "all-in-one" sites that have multiple aspects to them.

tikiwki dot org (can't believe as long as I've been here I still don't have 10 post lmao)

You could set up a blog on Drupal and allow registered users to edit any post.

Would that behave any different to doing the same thing on WordPress?
