    Adsense, black boxes, and alpha(opacity=100)

    Hi,

I recently designed a new Wordpress theme for my site. In doing so I used filter: alpha(opacity=100); to the stylesheet in order to get the right column to display the color properly. The problem is that this causes the Adsense ads to display black boxes in certain spots when viewed in IE. Can anyone suggest a fix for this? Removing the opacity isn't an option as it is vital to the column displaying properly in IE.

If it is causing the column to display incorrectly in IE then it can't be vital to its displaying correctly in IE.

AdSense ads are displayed using iframes and so the styles you apply to your main page will not necessaarily apply correctly to the iframe. Have you tried applying the filter with a different value to the iframe tags?
