    Folder only accessible in FTP

I've been trying to get to the bottom of this problem all day so maybe the community here can help me out. This is a PHP 5.2.0-8+etch13 running on a Tomcat server.

I have a folder named 'images' in the root directory and it just so happens that I can see the folder and its contents through FTP but I cannot access it through the browser. I double checked the permissions which are totally fine. I even re-created the folder and re-uploaded the images but still no avail. Then proceeded to remove the .htaccess, php.ini, and even robots.txt which I had previously checked and found no reference whatsoever to this folder. So finally, I renamed the folder to 'img' and voila, it works.

Any idea what else I should be looking for to get to the bottom of this? My first hunch is that there is some conflict between PHP and Tomcat. :/

Seems like it might be a caching issue. Doubt it's an issue with php.
