    Making navigation with in an iFrame reload the whole page

    I've been forced into a situation where, although I hate the bloody things, I need to use an iFrame.

    Basically, I have a form within the iFrame and I'd like it so that when somebody submits their information, the whole page reloads with the new content rather than just the iFrame.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks!

    HTML Code:
    <form action="..." target="_parent">
    Perhaps? Note that this isn't possible in HTML 4.01 Strict, so you'd have to use Transitional.

    Or better yet, use object instead of iframe. http://www.456bereastreet.com/archiv...ments_instead/

    Thanks guys. Using an object is indeed a better idea, however I still have the problem of the form reloading within itself rather than the entire browser.

    Any idea how I can get round this?
