Windows -debian problem
I have for ages been using windows with wamp server. My computer has just crashed and sick of windows I have started to use debian linux. I have installed xampp server. But all my old windows files are not recognised.
I open up the text file php file. It appears ok. But linux gives me ever so many permissions errors.
Now here is the interesting bit. If I copy and paste the code from the php file. Then delete the file. Then create a new file with the same name - then paste in the code from the clipboard then it works perfectly fine.
What can I do to get all these files to work save deleting them and pasting the code into a new file with the same name
