    CSS - I have messed it up,,,, again,,,,

    Good Morning,

    I have managed to screw my site again and need some help. I have been working through the book and I have managed to set up the first website! I was impressed anyway,,

    What went wrong was when I used the code from freedback to help with form submision.

    The form works a treat and the emails come through very nicely but for some reason my once nice looking site no longer looks nice as the CSS file I made is not having an effect.

    I have had a look and just can not seem to see where it all goes wrong. Any ideas?????

    this is a really small part of the code for the page,,,

    <title>Contact Us at Bubble Under</title>
    <meta ****-equiv="Content-Type"
    content="text/html; charet=utf-8" />
    <link href="style1.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <div id="header">
    <div id="SiteBranding">
    <div id="tagline">
    <p>Diving club for the south-west UK ó letís make a splash!</p>
    </div> <!-- end of header div -->
    <div id="navigation">
    <li><a href="index.****">Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="about.****">About Us</a></li>
    <li><a href="events.****">Club Events</a></li>
    <li><a href="contact.****">Contact Us</a></li>
    <li><a href="gallery.****">Image Gallery</a></li>
    </div> <!-- end of navigation div -->
    <div id="bodycontent">
    <h2>Contact Us</h2>
    <p>To let us know about a forthcoming dive event, please use
    the form below.</p>
    <form enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post" action="********freedback.*******" accept-charset="UTF-8">
    <input type="hidden" name="acctid" id="acctid" value="jkwf03jvje3h68xv" />
    <input type="hidden" name="formid" id="formid" value="529859" />
    <input type="hidden" name="required_vars" id="required_vars" value="name,email" />
    <legend>Tell Us About Your Dive Event</legend>
    <label for="name:" class="fixedwidth">Contact Name/label>
    <input type="text" name="name" id="name" value="" />

    And this is the CSS that did work up untill 1 hour ago,,,, label.fixedwidth {
    display: block;
    width: 240px;
    float: left;

    And for future reference, to avoid eye sores, please wrap your code in Code tags.
