Need a Wordpress Theme: Any suggestions?
Hey everyone-
I'm a newbie to this forum, so I apologize if I've posted in the wrong forum.
I'm working pro-bono on a website for a friend. They are a published author and blogger, and want a simple website to promote both themselves, their book as well as a blog to publish new work. Therefore the homepage wouldnt function completely as a blog, but more of a CMS with links to static and blog pages.
I am going to build the site on wordpress, and was interested in a free or low cost theme (from themeforest or a similar site) which I would then edit and change so it didn't look cookie cutter.
If you wordpress fans or designers have any suggestions, please post them
thanks!

Really great list webcosmo. If you don't find it there, do a search for Wordpress Themes. You'll find 100's of them.

Yeah, just search it to the Big G and you will find different word press themes. Updated and fresh! Anyway, the link above is really nice.

I guess there are quite a lot of magazine style themes available for free. The Revolution themes are going great and they look quite stunning with some settings that need to be done. If you are looking for something that is simple and text-only type then, i think the "structure" theme would be quite great..
