Ruby Console error with Readline

Hi guys,

I have recently installed RoR on my Macbook by following the method as outlined by Patrick Lenz in Simply Rails 2.

When i run server script/console I receive the following message:

Loading development environment (Rails 2.2.2)
dyld: NSLinkModule() error
dyld: Symbol not found: _rl_filename_completion_function
  Referenced from: /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.8/i686-darwin9.6.0/readline.bundle
  Expected in: flat namespace

Trace/BPT trap

If I try to run any of the simple IRB commands such as irb> 1 I get a similar error about the readline.bundle file.

Any ideas on a resolution?
