    table question

    Just wondering if i have a webpage using TABLES, with a table ont he left and a table in the center can i have a link on the table center that opens the link in the table on the left?

    You can use frames, though it's generally not preferred because of linkage/seo reasons. I would recommend ditching table based layouts ( assuming the content is not tabular data ) and avoid frames altogether.

    Not with HTML, no. The only way to achieve something like this is to use Ajax.

    Frames can also present severe accessibility problems for People with Disabilities (Screen readers - especially JAWS).
