How we can fix forcetype to work when apache is run as cgi

hey Buddy,
my site was working great with the following:

<Files content>
ForceType application/x-httpd-php
</Files>


now the host has changed apache to cgi.......so my site is now getting internal errors everywhere....

how can i convert the above to still work?

THis did not work........
<Files directory>
ForceType application/cgi-php
</Files>

Does anyone have any ideas.........i would greatly appreciate all input

Can you ask the host if your rules are even getting applied? I'm assuming you're using .htaccess.
