Computer and heart related problems
I think I have problems with my heart. People say it is computer related. I still didn't visit the doctor. I have chest pain and my hand is numb. This is not too severe, but it is distracting. I am young and athletic so I have no clue what is going on. I wonder if anyone that sits on the computer for a long time has these problems?

wait - you're having heart pains and numbness and you haven't seen a doctor? What are you waiting for - don't mess with heart pain.

Athletic or not, that sounds very serious. Even if it is because of the long hours at the computer, it doesn't make it any less serious. And while I understand your sentiments about hesitating to see a doctor (I never do myself unless I'm about to die), heart is a serious enough matter to consult one.

what you describe is (among other things) symptoms of heart related health problems.
some yrs ago a friend of mine had these same symptoms and when he finally went to see a doctor he needed some serious heart surgery. they had to cut his chest in half to reach the heart and it took probably 6+ months for him to recover. he is not in good shape but he is alive... and it had nothing to do with computers, if your doctor says it has, he probably need a shrink or move on to another job hehe.Who's to doom when the judge himself is dragged before the bar

I asked question here because I was told by a friend that it could be computer related. Last week I spent endless hours finishing certain project. I did cut the computer time and it seems that I am getting better. This post can maybe help someone with the same problems.
I will do exams next week for sure. Thank You!

You sound like you have a Matthew's syndrome, lol. It's not actually real, just some joke we made for a friend of mine named Matthew who thinks he is having heart problems and memory loss because of too much sitting in front of a computer.

Get yourself checked out by a doctor so you know its not a heart condition.
If its not then its probably muscular and you are putting stress on muscles by your posture at a PC.

Unless your heart is powered by your computer (may the gods help you if you run Windows in that case) any physical problems which affect your internal organs are highly unlikely to be related to computer usage. You may have a previously undiagnosed heart condition, you could just be suffering stress, theres plenty of explinations but none of them relate directly to your computer.
