Yayaya Sitepoint Winner's. Everyone who was nominated and have been picked to be the Year of 2009 Team member's.
I would like to take this time to tell you thank you for all the time and contribution you have put into this forum to make
    it where sitepoint is today.

Dangg it, I was hoping I was going to win one of those kits.
I guess i'll have to buy one of them now. It's okay though there
    well worth the Money!!

I was a little suprised who won the awards in some of the sections.
It doesn't matter though. Everyone did such a great job this year.

    Thank you -Sitepoint.

Congratulations to all the winners, you are all very deserving winners!

I hope you all wear your new badges with pride in 2009.

A thank you must go to the awards committee for this year. Your efforts putting together such a smooth program was just simply outstanding. What you see on the surface is just a fraction of what goes on behind the scenes.. Well done team!

A final very special thank you goes to Dave. Mate your efforts have just been amazing. Your dedication, professionalism, and sheer determination has put a shining light on the awards for us all, and is an inspiring example of what it means to be a part of this great community.

Wow, what a list of names! In any other community, one particularly dedicated member would have won half the awards. Here at SitePoint, we have dedicated experts for every topic under the sun.

    You all rock.

One of the things that makes SitePoint such a great place is the number of experts in the various fields who participate. Congratulations to all the nominees for the recognition that being nominated gives. Anywhere else any of those nominated would have cleaned up most of the awards on offer and those who were nominated but didn't win have only missed out due to the fact that there are so many experts here. I know that I have learnt a lot just by reading the answers that many of these experts have posted (in many cases to questions I wouldn't have thought to ask).

Thanks also to all those who considered my contributions to be sufficient to be worth the nominations I received.

Congratulations to all winners!, especially php_daemon, be prepared to be dragged out of your bed in the middle of the night to answer php questions. Well, the same goes to all winners actually... That is what holding the badge is all about.

My question is, what is SitePoint going to do to those who have won more than one award? Will the double winners have to renounce the extra awards, in which case another contest is in the offing to award to badges again? I think it should happen that way. One award - one member. That is only fair.

Congratulations to everyone especially those who are first time winners. Looks like 2009 is going to be a vintage year.

Multiple-award winners can have two awards. Please see my current (as of 23 December 2008) badge for an example.

Congratulations everyone who made it through.

Come to think of it, I feel terribly guilty to realize that 2008 was the least productive year for me in terms of my participation at SitePoint forums. And I have really started to miss the community.

Think I am going to be back. with vengeance.

    Congratulations to the winners!

And a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all SP members

Btw... I see I won a kit! Now that's a nice way to end the year
One question: how does it work? Are you going to send it to me? I really don't remember if there was an explanation when I voted
