How Do I create valid xhtml/html page when using editor?

    Hi all,

I have a question in my mind. The question is If I will use a online web editor (like fck editor) to post a blog post, how Do I create valid xhtml page?. Because all of the web editors has the copy/paste html code. Or really we allow the copy and paste feature to avoid the error?

    Regards!

Or better yet, (assuming the CMS you're using allows this) turn it off and type your HTML code manually.

    That's what I do.

Of course having control over the template files helps a lot too.

I tell all my clients not to copy and paste - I make a big thing about it (which of course many then ignore). In sites where I've built an editable area myself with something like TinyMCE then I stick a big notice above the textarea telling them not to copy/paste directly. With things like WordPress I just nag them alot!!

Most of them get the idea when suddenly their carefully styled site has a big chunk of Word formatted text in the middle of it!

Personally I haven't found the Word copy/paste icon in any of these editors to work very well so when I can I remove it and give them only the most basic options.
