    Making a cell alpha transparent

    Well, I am trying to make this cell alpha transparent (see-thru) and that works...:

    style="filter:alpha(opacity:50)"

    But the problem it, this property applies to the whole cell. I mean even the text inside the cell, which ofcourse I don't want to happen. Any clues... applying the property to something else maybe...

    P.S.: I have tried adding an opacity:100 to the text, but that doesn't work...!

    If you put the text in a span, I do believe it works.

    Make the cell transparent with its background, and then have a nestled table inside with normal zero transparency.
