Any suggestions on who can make a good illustration?

I am in need of someone who can design a nice illustration for me. I've considered 99designs but not sure if I want to go through that.

I wanted to check with you guys to see if you had any suggestions of designers who I should consider before 99 designs.

Also, are there any other sites like 99 designs out there that I could consider as well?

I don't know of any one stop free lance artist communities. But you could try combing through deviantart. If you have a local art school in your area you could try reaching out to the art teachers to see if they have any students interested in a design project.

but also consider that there is a wide variety of artists out there and you have to make sure you find the right one.

knowing the right terms may help you narrow down your search.

Let them contact you. You just have to post to the marketplace of forums that you are needing one and specify what you need.
