Strange, gibberish characters showing up in Firefox
I've noticed many sites (mostly blogs) where the post title is displayed in strange, unreadable characters. I've also noticed this in some contact forms, where text typed into the form is displayed in gibberish.
When I view these sites in IE, the text appears normal.
Anyone know why this is?

It sounds like what you're describing is related to character set encoding. For example, if a site is UTF-8 but your browser is reading the bytes as though they were Windows 1252, certain characters wil be displayed differently. This is usually described as "strange characters" rather than "gibberish" so I may be off the mark, but you can experiment with the view -> encoding settings to see if that makes any improvement.Big Change Coming Soon - if you want your PMs save them now!
