    How do I validate my Wordpress site for code like this

    When you register to an Affiliate Program, some sites ask you to validate your site by asking you to place something like this

    <meta name="verify-site" content="ProgramVerification123="/>

    so that the program can verify the site. In a site made by Wordpress where do I place the Above kind of code.

    Regards,
    Hemanth

    Its not working mate. I placed the above code in header.php of my theme..

    This was the Instruction - Copy and paste this code block into the main index page of your website/blog immediately before the </head> tag

    Have you looked at the source of your web page and checked if it's showing up correctly?

    If so, it's the fault of the site trying to validate the code.

    I see that the site in your signature is using WP Super Cache. Is it possible that your WP install has cached the old theme files and you need to rebuild the cache to show the new code?

    Oh Thank you. That could be possible. I shall clear the cache and try again now

    insted of using double quote try single quote
    replace
    <meta name="verify-site" content="ProgramVerification123="/>
    with
    <meta name='verify-site' content='ProgramVerification123='/>
