    Hi!

I'm looking for a menu something like http://cbs.sportsline.com

I found a topic about this but the script that "d3v" posted doesn't work in NS http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/Forum4/HTML/000966.html

If you look at the CBS site you'll see that the menu layer doesn't hide directly when the mouse is moved out of the layer... I wouldn't mind a function like that

well... if anyone out there have a solution to this I would greatly appriciate any help I could get!

    thanks in advance!

http://www.bratta.com and http://www.dynamicdrive.com - I'm near positive both have menus such as that that you can use...and I'm also quite sure that they offer Netscape-viable solutions as well...

    Hope this helps.

    Chris,

You're right, there is a script that will do exactly that at Bratta.com. You'll find it at http://bratta.com/dhtml/scripts.asp?.../coolmenus.asp

    hey guys!

thanks for your answers but I'm not looking for menus ike that... I need to be able to display my own images in the "menu layer", I need to be able to position it wherever I want...

forget the whole thing, I searched for a script like that for ages but I havent found one so I guess I just have to drop the whole thing.

once again, TWTCommish and DynaMike thanks for your replies guys!!

There are some pretty talented programmers and coders here. Why don't you make an offer for what you want in the traders' post?

Excellent idea Mike! I personally recommend Mike as a possible solution to you're problem...he's very good with this kind of stuff.

A post on The Trading Post (no pun intended) should do the tricky...contests there are highly successful if done correctly...heck, I got 17 entries for my logo contest!

The coolmenus script can easily be modified to display custom images, though this introduces problems in Netscape. Also that menu is completely modifiable including position and colors. Check the forums at bratta.com there are many people in there that are "Coolmenu experts".
